I have always wanted to go to a top CRNA program, however I knew it would be tough getting in. So… I decided to put in the hard work, and I am happy to say that I graduate from a top CRNA school in ONE week! Would I put myself through all of this torture again? Yes, in a second!!!

Top CRNA schools are a little harder to gain admission into and require some extra work. I had an undergrad GPA of 3.3, and I did terrible on the GRE. I had been an ICU nurse in the medical ICU for almost 7 years prior to applying, and during that time I received my CCRN certification.

On average, a CRNA will make 2-3 times more per year than a registered nurse working in a hospital. A study was done by Merritt Hawkins & Associates, and it showed that the average CRNA salary in 2009 was $189,000, which is $91.00 per hour (40 hour work week).

Ok so I have 88 days left until I am walking the stage for my CRNA school graduation. It’s not like I am counting the days or anything, haha! Ok maybe I am, and maybe… I started counting down really early when there was lets say… 365 days left in the program.
